OAK BRIDGE

Differences Shouldn’t Be Barriers

You've seen the signs. Your bright, capable child is falling behind in a traditional school setting.
It's heartbreaking to see them struggling, and you're left feeling helpless. We believe differences shouldn’t be barriers to learning, growing and exploring.

We understand the challenges that children with Autism Spectrum Disorder face. We also know the effect that this can have on their families as they strive to be a support. At OBA, our staff are all trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. This training enables our staff to deliver high-quality education while also empowering students to become more flexible and independent. This enables children with ASD to learn and grow, and families to breathe again.

Families Who Found a Bridge Forward

Christy and Mya

The dedication, commitment and support from the staff at OBA have helped my daughter thrive academically and socially; allowing her to grow, form meaningful relationships and to learn how to become her true self. Mya now understands goal setting, self-control, mindfulness, acceptance and how to be in the present moment. She has been given so many techniques and strategies to help manage her emotions, which has set her up for success at both school and at home. Watching her grow this past year has been so rewarding and inspiring.

Thank you Oak Bridge!
