Our Elementary Program supports students who learn in unique and non-traditional ways. With small class sizes and individualized attention, each student receives a customized education plan based on ongoing assessments and consultations. We follow the Ontario curriculum with tailored modifications or accommodations to meet students where they are—whether they’re working above, below, or at grade level.

Curriculum
At Oak Bridge Academy, we follow the Ontario Curriculum in all subject areas, enhanced by evidence-based programs tailored to support diverse learners. Our approach integrates best practices and proven teaching strategies to ensure every student thrives.
Literacy
We use the Orton–Gillingham structured literacy approach, supported by programs like Heggerty Phonemic Awareness™ and Great Word House™ to build strong reading foundations. Daily, explicit phonemic awareness instruction helps students become confident, automatic readers. We also incorporate IXL™ as a tool for both enrichment and remediation.

Dynamic Math (Grades 3+) is fully aligned with the Ontario curriculum and includes key topics like Financial Literacy and Coding. It offers step-by-step instruction, assessments, and instructional videos to reinforce learning.
