Oak Bridge Academy is thrilled to announce we are the recipients of a music therapy grant from the Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation!

​​​This generous grant will be used to partially fund a 10-week music therapy program for the students of Oak Bridge Academy starting this October.  Oak Bridge Academy is excited to partner with Emily Carruthers, a certified Music Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist and owner of KiJengle: Inclusive Music Education & Music Therapy, to provide this service.  Music therapy is a research-based practice and profession in which music is used to support development, health, and well-being. At Oak Bridge Academy, this music therapy program will enrich our students' social, emotional and academic experience.  ​
