Focus Group
Thank you to those of you who made it out to our focus group back in June! Your comments and suggestions have been very instrumental in helping us formulate policies and develop the curriculum. I’ve really enjoyed reading through your surveys, and appreciate your thoughtful advice.
Current Efforts
We are working hard to get ready: developing a business plan, recruiting strong board members to ensure good governance, researching best practices for an evidence-based curriculum, actively searching for a location, building community partnerships, creating marketing and fundraising strategies….just to name a few efforts!
New Board Members
We have some talented and passionate new board members on our team who are all dedicated to making Oak Bridge Academy a one-of-a-kind school in Waterloo Region, including:
Location
Oak Bridge Academy is currently considering a few locations within Waterloo Region. We are focussing on finding a temporary partnership with a local church which could offer classrooms, a gymnasium, a kitchen and outdoor green space. If you have any leads or ideas, please forward them along. We’d love to hear from you [email protected]
Our Big Launch
We will host a launch for Oak Bridge Academy in February 2018 to present our curriculum and school structure, and to open registration. Don’t forget to check out our website for news and upcoming events www.oakbridge.ca. Stay Tuned!
