OBHS is an innovative high school program designed to address the special learning needs of students who would have difficulties meeting the demands of a typical high school program and social environment. Our program works at a slower pace (3 credits per semester) which provides students with more hours in each course, allowing for more time to acquire the content.
Our OSSD Stream is not only about small class sizes we:

- Have a BCBA onsite to support behavioural needs and emotional regulation
- Offer flexible methods of teaching in distinct learning environments to meet the needs of learners
- Use diverse hands-on approaches to learning the required Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum
- Provide an opportunity to succeed in a different educational setting that emphasizes student-centered and differentiated methods in teaching and learning
- Ensure supportive staff provide Applied and Workplace curriculum through engaging in-person classes with a focus on personalized hands-on learning
- Offer grade 11 and 12 co-operative placements in a variety of settings
