Stephen Smith started Oakbridge Information Solutions in 2002 to provide consulting and web-based business applications.
The following year (2003), Oakbridge became an authorized partner of Witango, a cross-platform, rapid application development tool.
In 2004, Oakbridge added another product, DayLite, a Contact & Sales Management System for the Mac platform.
That same year, Oakbridge released its own Online Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
Mr. Smith has been involved in the design and construction of dynamic web applications since 1995. He was responsible for the development of a number of online banking solutions for both the Bank of Montreal and HSBC Canada. He has also provided solutions for a variety of organizations including Graphis Publishing, Epic Records, Nortel, Ericsson, and The Free Library of Philadelphia.
Prior to becoming involved in web application development, Mr. Smith enjoyed 10 years in the retail inventory and merchandising software industry.
